The original bestselling mobile word game has been reimagined in this new version! SpellTower offers an engaging gameplay experience that requires you to choose your words wisely. As you play, tiles continuously rise from the bottom of the screen, challenging your lexicological skills and tactical know-how. It's crucial to keep your columns down and prevent any letters from reaching the top row to avoid game over.
This new version brings back the classic modes, including Daily Tower, Tower, Puzzle, Rush, and Zen. Each mode is now packed with exciting new bonus tiles that can double (or even more!) the value of your words. Additionally, there's a brand new Search mode, along with ExPuzzle, Double Puzzle, Bubble Puzzle, and Blitz mode, providing a total of eleven different modes to explore!
On top of the enhanced gameplay, SpellTower offers convenient features like iCloud Backup, highscores reported for games in progress, detailed statistics for each mode, Game Center leaderboards, and achievements.
It's incredible to revisit my first hit game, SpellTower, after nearly ten years since its initial release. I'm astounded when I think about how much time has passed and how far technology has come since then. The nostalgia hits as I recall that it was originally designed for iPhones with a 3.5-inch screen and 320 x 480 resolution!
One interesting aspect of creating such a successful game is hearing stories from players. I've heard heartwarming tales of grandparents playing SpellTower every morning to sharpen their minds, parents enjoying it with their children, expectant mothers finding solace in the game during morning sickness, and even strangers immersed in gameplay on subways, planes, and elevators.
I ventured into game development because I wanted to positively connect with people, help them think critically, and leave them with more than they had when they started playing. Games seemed like the perfect way to accomplish this on a large scale. But little did I anticipate the extent to which SpellTower would touch people's lives and exceed my expectations.
I am truly grateful that SpellTower has become something special for so many individuals. This is why countless people have shared their experiences with friends, loved ones, and even strangers in elevators. Although I created SpellTower, its significance has become much bigger than just my creation. The game has resonated with audiences, and their experiences and love for it have surpassed mine exponentially.
When designing this new version, I thought extensively about the stories and experiences that people have had with the game. My goal is to reignite the passion of those who have loved SpellTower and provide them with a fresh reason to relive the excitement and share it with their friends and family once again.
